I strive to accommodate a variety of needs and preferences by creating a genuine, trusting relationship. Ultimately, my goal as a therapist is for my clients to learn to believe in themselves whole-heartedly, to relate to the world from a place of embodied confidence and authenticity, and to set childhood wounds on the track to healing and wholeness as soon as possible. Because I use a family systems approach in working with adolescents and families, I am particularly sensitive to adolescents who feel they are being labeled as β€˜the problem.’ Throughout the years, I have effectively worked to combat this narrative and restore equanimity to the families I have been privileged to work with. I do this through helping facilitate dialogue between family members so that everyone feels acknowledged in their own process and from there we can move towards understanding of each other and ultimately to problem solving.
